Overview
A fluid feedthrough is a device that transfers gases or liquids from the external environment into a controlled environment, such as vacuum chambers, pressurized vessels, or clean zones, while maintaining the system's hermetic seal and functional integrity. At its core, it consists of a hermetically sealed channel through which gases or liquids are introduced into the vacuum system via hollow tubing or capillary structures, along with end fittings such as Swagelok, VCR, or NPT.
Application scenarios for fluid feedthroughs include cooling for vacuum systems, transporting reaction reagents or intermediate products in chemical processing equipment, and contamination-free transmission in medical and pharmaceutical devices.
